Odysseus - An Epic Hero?
My exposition of a literary submarineical wizard is a character who is expert, brave, and a good fighter. In the epic verse poem The Odyssey, the main character, Odysseus, fits this definition perfectly. Odysseus is incredibly clever, like in the episode The daphnia. He is overly brave. The episode journey from troy weight showed that. Finally, the episode called Odysseuss retaliate proves that he is a significant fighter. Odysseus can be considered an epic hero because he has nearly of the characteristics necessary to be one.\nIn the episode The Cyclops, Odysseus is shown having the epic indication of cleverness. Odysseus and his hands were sailing class from fight in the trojan War, when a sudden face-lift and current change send them off course. After fighting the Cicones on the island Ismarus and being tempted by sleep-inducing lotus flowers, they find themselves arrive on the b to each onees of the Island of Cyclopes. They go to explore ones cave, only whe n they get trapped. To scheme, Odysseus gets the Cyclops drunk, and therefore stabs his eyes so that hes blinded. Then, Odysseus and his men obliterate under the Cyclops sheep. The poem says, I tied them silently together, twining cords of willow from the fanatics bed, then slung a world under each middle one to repulse there safely, shielded on the left and right. So trey sheep could convey each man (378-392). This idea worked well because the Cyclops couldnt see them, he depended on his comprehending and sense of fulfil to find them in casing they try to escape. This was really clever because, since theyre underneath the sheep, though, he can non hear or feel them going away by him. Now they excite a perfect escape route back to the ship. This proves that Odysseus is very clever. Hes not only clever, though, but besides incredibly brave.\nThe episode Sailing from Troy proved that Odysseus had other trait of an epic hero: bravery. In this episode, he and his men had just won the trojan War, and were on their way...
